Community Guidelines
Last updated: July 15, 2026
BEEM connects real adults nearby. To keep the community safe and welcoming, everyone agrees to follow these rules. Breaking them can result in warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans depending on severity.
1. 18+ only
BEEM is strictly for people 18 years of age or older. Accounts belonging to minors are removed immediately and permanently. Do not attempt to circumvent age verification.
2. Be a real person
- Use your own recent photos.
- No impersonation, fake accounts, or catfishing.
- One person, one account.
- No bots, scripts, or automated interactions.
3. Respect others
- No harassment, threats, stalking, or intimidation.
- No hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or serious disease.
- No unsolicited sexual content, including explicit messages or images.
- Consent matters — in messages, in photos, and in person.
4. Prohibited content
- Nudity, sexually explicit material, or pornography.
- Any content sexualizing or endangering minors — reported to NCMEC and law enforcement.
- Violence, gore, self-harm, weapons, or content promoting them.
- Illegal drugs, sale of controlled substances, or promotion of dangerous activity.
- Terrorism, extremism, or organized criminal activity.
- Personal information about others (doxxing).
- Intellectual property infringement.
5. No commercial or promotional use
BEEM is for personal connection, not marketing. No prostitution, escort services, sugar arrangements, MLM recruitment, financial scams, cryptocurrency pitches, or brand promotion.
6. Honest signals
Don't manipulate BEEM Signal, verification badges, or trust systems. Don't buy, sell, or trade accounts. Don't evade bans by creating new accounts.
7. Safety off the app
If you meet someone in person, treat them with respect and safety. Threats, violence, harassment, or non-consensual behavior that happens off BEEM can still result in an account ban when reported.
Enforcement
Depending on severity and history, violations may result in a warning, temporary suspension, permanent ban, and — for illegal content — referral to law enforcement. You can appeal moderation decisions from Settings → Appeals.
