Copyright & DMCA Policy

BEEM respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), we respond to properly submitted notices of alleged copyright infringement.
Submitting a DMCA takedown notice
Send a written notice to our Designated Agent that includes all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail (e.g., profile URL, photo location) for us to locate it.
- Your contact information — mailing address, telephone number, and email.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and — under penalty of perjury — that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Counter-notification
If your content was removed and you believe it was mistaken or misidentified, you may send a counter-notice to the address above containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and its previous location.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the US, any judicial district in which BEEM may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or their agent.
Repeat-infringer policy
It is BEEM's policy to terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of copyright.
Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
